Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green says the club is playing for big man DeMarcus Cousins moving forward.

Cousins tore his left quad in Game 2 against the Los Angeles Clippers and will likely miss the rest of the postseason.

Green, who is close with Cousins, says what happened to Boogie sucks:

The Warriors are tied with the Clippers at 1-1. The series shifts to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4.

All season long, Green and the Warriors talked about how they were excited for Cousins to finally experience playoff basketball. Boogie never made the postseason with the Sacramento Kings and wasn't able to play in the 2018 playoffs with the New Orleans Pelicans because of the torn Achilles tendon he suffered in January.

Now, Cousins will have to watch from the sidelines again. The good news is that the All-Star center will still get a championship ring if the Warriors are able to win it all in June.

Green's role with the Dubs will change with Cousins out. The versatile forward will have to score the ball a bit more and rebound as well. Even though the Warriors suffered an epic collapse in Game 2, they are still favored to win the series against the Clippers.
