Golden State Warriors rookie forward Jordan Bell has no mixed feelings about his first time facing the Chicago Bulls, the team that sold the rights to their 38th overall draft pick to the reigning champions, who had no selections available in this year's draft.

Bell noted there was nothing special about facing the Bulls tonight, even though he could potentially make his first start of the season, as forward Draymond Green takes a seat tonight to rest against the Bulls.

“They made it clear they didn't want me,” said Bell, according to K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune.

Bell's price tag of $3.5 million was more than worth it to a Warriors' ownership group that had performed the same exact maneuver the year before, snatching Patrick McCaw out of UNLV, also with the 38th pick, but this time from the Milwaukee Bucks back in 2016.

The rookie out of Oregon showed his incredible potential, nailing the mythical five-by-five, putting up five of each major statistical category on the scoreboard during a Summer League game. His counterpart and mentor Draymond Green came just shy of the feat last season against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Bell has faced plenty of obstacles to start the season, as he has been inactive regularly throughout the season due to the Warriors' incredible depth and Steve Kerr's choice to keep everyone happy.

Games like tonight could allow Bell to show the world what it mistake it was to sell him to a contender on draft night.
