Jordan Poole has been an X-Factor for the Golden State Warriors throughout this season. He's been a key component to their success in the playoffs as well, and the Dubs are hoping for more of the same from him ahead of their Western Conference Finals matchup against Luka Doncic and the Mavs.

Right before Game 1, Poole spoke with Ernie Johnson of NBA on TNT about his mindset entering the Mavs series. When asked about the difference between starting and coming off the bench, the Warriors guard was straightforward with his response:

“To be honest, it doesn't really matter, just being able to be prepared for any opportunity,” Poole said. “Kinda was training for it all season. Now that I have the keys to kind of play my game, it just feels really good to be out there. Just play normally. Whether I'm getting 25 minutes or 48.”

Poole's response is exactly the type of statement you'd love to hear from a player that is expected to play a significant role for the Warriors moving forward. Equally impressive is how he did the interview while putting up shots. This definitely isn't something you see every day. This just goes to show that Jordan Poole is taking his preparation very, very seriously.
