Former NBA big man and current ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins thinks the Golden State Warriors should take a look at Carmelo Anthony or Jamal Crawford after losing star Stephen Curry to a broken left hand:

The Warriors are going to struggle to score the ball with Curry out. One thing we know is that scoring has never been an issue for Carmelo Anthony or Jamal Crawford.

Anthony hasn’t played in an NBA game since November of last year. He lasted just 10 games with the Houston Rockets before the franchise exiled and eventually traded him to the Chicago Bulls, who wound up waiving the future Hall of Famer.

Anthony averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds with the Rockets while shooting 40.5 percent from the field, 32.8 percent from beyond the arc and 68.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Crawford played with the Phoenix Suns last season. The veteran scorer averaged 7.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 64 games while shooting 39.7 percent from the field, 33.2 percent from beyond the arc and 84.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Crawford, 39, scored 51 points on April 9 against the Dallas Mavericks. He played for the Warriors during the 2008-09 season.

The Warriors are 1-3 on the season. With Curry out for the foreseeable future, the Dubs may have to hit up the free agent market and get some scorers on the roster.
