The prevalent music taste in the NBA leans towards Hip Hop, RnB and Rap. However, Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Klay Thompson is bucking the trend.

When asked what music he listens to when he meditates, he had an answer that might sound surprising to his fans and fellow NBA players.

Thompson is a fan of classical music, at least when he needs to calm his mind before bed. Whatever he is doing to focus himself, it's certainly working. After a rough start to the Western Conference Semifinals against the Houston Rockets, Thompson caught fire. He shot 21-40 from the field in Games 5 and 6, as well as 12-23 from distance.

Thompson has been known to get off to slow starts, but a player of his caliber rarely stays in a slump for long. He also has developed a long history of playoff effectiveness.

Thompson is already fourth all-time for most 3-pointers made in the playoffs. He currently stands at 339, behind LeBron James, Ray Allen, and teammate Stephen Curry.

Just like Mozart and Beethoven, he has already joined a list of all time greats and has a chance to add to his impressive numbers when the Warriors face off with the Portland Trail Vlazers in the West finale.
