The Golden State Warriors suffered a deflating loss to the L.A. Clippers on the road after clawing their way back to send the game to overtime. During the heated battle, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant were seen having a heated argument after the end of regulation, as Green raced up-court and an open Durant never received the ball to get the last shot.

The play resulted in a turnover, making it all the more frustrating for Durant, who managed to play the entire fourth quarter with five fouls.

Warriors veteran point guard Shaun Livingston blew the smoke off the scene, claiming the tension was just two veteran guys trying to win a basketball game.

“It's just team spirit. Team spirit,” said Livingston. “Guys wanted a different outcome than what happened. Obviously Dray had a turnover, guys might have thought they were open and wanted the basketball and didn't get it. Things happen like that.”

This is hardly the first time Green and Durant have gotten into it, as they notoriously did during the latter's first season with the team in 2016-17 after a loss to the Sacramento Kings.

The two are known to be close friends and hang around each other a lot, making this likely just a heated game situation that brought frustration for both parties.

Durant wouldn't have much of a chance in overtime, quickly fouling out after a questionable call on a reaching foul on Montrezl Harrell, still finishing with a strong triple-double of 33 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
