Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry admits he's still thinking about the Finals loss to the Toronto Raptors.

Today is exactly one week since the Raptors defeated the Warriors in six games. Curry says it's hard to get over a loss in the NBA Finals and that it takes time.

“Somewhat. Honestly, I’m still thinking about the Finals a little bit and could we have done something different to win it? Five days out, I’m still a little banged up, trying to get ready for the summer,” Curry told USA TODAY Sports. “(It's a) healthy little process, to get over it.”

The Warriors were a banged up team in the Finals. Kevin Durant only played a little bit in Game 5 before he tore his right Achilles tendon. Klay Thompson then tore his left ACL in Game 6. Both All-Stars are expected to miss the entire 2019-20 season.

Curry averaged 30.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists in the Finals. The two-time league MVP shot 41.4 percent from the field, 34.3 percent from beyond the arc and 94.7 percent from the free-throw line. The Raptors, led by Kawhi Leonard, just had too much firepower, while the Warriors were a depleted team.

A lot of people believe Curry should be the favorite to win the MVP award next season since he's going to have an insanely high usage rate with Thompson and Durant out. We'll see if the sharpshooter can capture his third MVP.
