Just like every sports fan in the world, Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry is enjoying The Last Dance documentary on Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.

Episodes 1-4 were stellar and the Warriors star is patiently waiting for episodes 5 and 6 to air.

Curry was recently a guest on “The Rory & Carson Podcast” and talked about how much he's enjoying the docuseries along with what he's learning (h/t Drew Shiller of NBC Sports Bay Area):

“The MJ doc, man — the eras are so different. There was so much more mystery back in the day,” the Warriors legend said. “(Michael) Jordan, (Scottie) Pippen and (Dennis) Rodman — they show up on TV, you watch a game, everybody gets into it — and then you really don't see them or hear from them until the next game.

“All that drama and the experiences that they went through — unless you were there (you didn't really know about it) … there's a lot of comparisons to what we went through with the Warriors these last five years in building up, to trying to stay on top and all that type of stuff.

“So I'm actually learning a lot about leadership. And just really another appeciation for the demands that are put on us as professional athletes. I do understand the work that goes in, but also all the things that you have to juggle being in the spotlight. It's crazy.”

Curry and the Warriors went to five straight NBA Finals and won three. So the sharpshooter and his Dubs teammates can understand the pressure the Bulls were under back in the day.

However, as Curry says, there's more media attention and access to players now. Professional athletes are under a microscope like never before.

Curry and the Warriors had the worst record in the NBA before the season was suspended due to COVID-19. The two-time MVP and three-time champion only played in five games because of a broken left hand he suffered in the fourth game of the season.

Until sports are resumed, The Last Dance will be the only thing thrilling to watch for sports fans.
