Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will play tonight against the Boston Celtics after missing the last game against the Orlando Magic with a right thigh contusion, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Curry first sustained the injury in the first quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers, and despite playing through the injury, was forced to sit out against the Magic for precautionary measures.

Kevin Durant and Curry have alternated absences, making this the first game in which the two stars will play together in the last three games.

Both teams will use this game as a measuring bar early into the season, as Boston has won 13 straight games after losing the first two. The Warriors are still favored to win by 7.5 points, despite facing a red-hot Celtics team on the road.

Curry has led the team in scoring so far with 25.2 points per game, shooting a ridiculous 94.4 percent from the stripe while showing a continued aggression to get to the free-throw line.

Golden State has now won its last seven games after a home loss to the Detroit Pistons that turned heads. The Warriors had shot 57 percent from the floor, but turned the ball over a whopping 25 times. They will now go against not only the best team in the East, but also one of the best at avoiding turnovers during live play.
