Recently, Los Angeles Lakers future Hall of Famer LeBron James joined “The Shop” and revealed which player he would most like to play with that is currently in the NBA. James said he wanted to play with the Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.

Curry was on 95.7 The Game on Wednesday and had the clip of LeBron saying he would want to play with him, played for him. Curry's response was quite interesting.

“Well, he got his wish. He's the captain, he picked me the last two All-Star games… I don't know if that suffices, but, I'm good right now. I'm good right now.” If the quote or topic ended there, it could have been interpreted as a slight toward James. But Curry was then asked how he felt about LeBron's comments.

“Whenever you get the interest, the curiosity of what it would be like to play… arguably the MVP kind of caliber dude that he is… one of the greatest of all time, cool, it's amazing!”

Knowing how easily James is typically able to get into the lane and find shooters, Curry on the same team sounds like a deadly combination.

Curry is still rehabbing from his foot injury he sustained a couple weeks ago against the Boston Celtics. Since Curry's injury, the Warriors have struggled to win games. Golden State has fallen down the standings in the Western Conference to the number three seed and are only one game ahead of the Dallas Mavericks with three games remaining.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr recently updated Curry's status, saying he is ramping things up. It is not yet known whether Curry will be ready to open the playoffs with Golden State.
