Don't be fooled by Klay Thompson's appearance and silent demeanor as the Golden State Warriors guard is as tough as they get. Head coach Steve Kerr affirms that by stating Thompson's availability for the Warriors' game on Wednesday night against the Portland Trail Blazers, per Mark Medina of the Mercury News.

Thompson jammed the ring finger on his left hand early in their matchup against the Utah Jazz. However, that did not stop him from returning to the game and finishing with 22 points, four rebounds, one assist, and two blocks. Moreover, he shot the ball extremely well, going 9-of-14 from the field and converting on three of his five 3-point attempts.

The Warriors won over the Jazz, 115-108, led by Kevin Durant's 28 points and seven assists. Stephen Curry also did a yeoman's job especially on the defensive end as he wound up with four steals and two blocks on top of his 24 markers.

Kerr even expounded on one of Thompson's best characteristics that is his toughness.

Save for the shortened season in 2011-12, his first in the NBA, the least amount of games Thompson has played in a year is 73. Despite not having an A.C. Green or Tristan Thompson-like streak of games played, the sweet-shooting star still deserves to be called an NBA Iron Man for his durability.

His consistency will be a crucial factor in the Warriors' quest for a third-straight title. After Tuesday night, they remain on top of the West's team standings, holding a two-and-a-half game separation from the Denver Nuggets.
