The Golden State Warriors are on their way to their fifth consecutive NBA Finals after dominating the Western Conference playoffs yet again. Half of their victories in the postseason were without arguably their best player, Kevin Durant, which is what makes it more impressive because Steve Kerr and his wards have swept the Portland Trail Blazers in the conference finals.

Kerr knows that his team will go down as one of the greatest dynasties in the history of the NBA. But he hopes that their reign as the best team in the league over the past five years will not be overlooked when everything is said and done.

The Warriors started from scratch by drafting and developing the players of their core group in Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Then, they've added the building blocks to their championship team in the form of Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, and Andrew Bogut.

In 2016, they added Durant, and they've been unstoppable ever since.

The critics of the Warriors have always claimed that they ruined the league for forming the superteam that they have now, which is one of the reasons why they are seen by many as not a legitimate dynasty because after losing the championship to the Cleveland Cavaliers three years ago, they took the easy way out.

But at the end of the day, there's no denying the fact that the Warriors are good, maybe too good for the rest of the league at this point, and no one can take their legacy away from them.
