Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr apparently wasn't moved by President Donald Trump's photo in front of St. John's Church amid nearby protests of racial injustice on Monday.

The Warriors coach tweeted the image of Trump holding a Bible with quite the sarcastic caption:

Kerr further expressed his displeasure at the decision to tear gas peaceful protestors to take a manufactured and utterly meaningless photo:

is an outspoken critic of the Trump Administration and the Republican Party platform, particularly on matters of inequality and gun rights.

Over the weekend, Kerr joined the committee of NBA coaches that will work toward solutions regarding racial injustice across the 30 NBA cities.

On Tuesday, Kerr, Greg Popovich, Anquan Boldin, Demario Davis and Andrew McCutchen co-authored an op-ed in USA TODAY laying out specific ways in which police forces can be held accountable for harmful treatment of unarmed Americans:

“When we watch people like George Floyd or Eric Garner get choked to death, it is hard to be filled with anything but the utmost despair. But our anger and frustration will not stop police violence. There are meaningful changes that would allow us to police these officers, not just the other way around. We must ensure that victimizing our fellow citizens brings real consequences,” they wrote.

The 54-year-old Warriors coach will continue to use his platform to speak out against injustices, and he'll work to make the world a better place.
