For those hoping that the Boston Celtics-Golden State Warriors NBA Finals series would reach a Game 7, it is best not to have too much expectations. After all, Steve Kerr and the Dubs have no plan to let it go the distance.

Kerr said that loud and clear in his message to the Warriors after their Game 5 win. While speaking to his players in the locker room following Monday's victory, Kerr boldly declared that they are going to wrap things up in Boston.

The video was aired on ESPN and quickly went viral, and for good reasons.

“We’re gonna get this in Boston. We’re gonna finish this in Boston,” Kerr said.

For what it's worth, Steve Kerr and the Warriors have every reason to be confident. Even with Stephen Curry struggling and failing to make a triple, they showed their depth with both Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson stepping up to propel them to the 104-94 win.

Imagine what would have happened had Curry played better? Not to mention that Jayson Tatum actually played great overall for the Celtics, shooting 10-of-20 from the field including 5-of-9 from 3-pointers–though he did have four turnovers.

Of course the Warriors cannot be too complacent. The Celtics remain a dangerous team with the talent they have. However, there is no doubt Golden State will head to Boston for Game 6 determined and hungry to close it out.
