Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors handed the L.A. Clippers a 141-113 loss Monday, but the do-it-all forward did more than just help his team damage the Clippers’ record. He also tried to hurt Clippers guard Wesley Johnson’s feelings.

During one play in the game, Johnson blew past his defender and went for a layup attempt that missed. He did get fouled, however, earning him a trip to the foul line. It was here when Green tried to play mind games on Johnson in hopes of throwing off the former Syracuse Orange’s focus.

Draymond Green has shared the court with Wesley Johnson countless times since the Clippers and the Warriors operate in the same division and the Warriors forward probably has become thoroughly familiar with the nuances of the games of several Clippers players including Johnson.

Of course, Wesley Johnson hasn’t missed all his layups in the league, but for the record, Johnson has made just 68 percent of his dunks and layups attempts so far in his career, per NBA Savant.

He made both his free throws by the way so Green might have to find another way to rattle Johnson like maybe mentioning that Johnson is a bust? Johnson after all has failed to live up to his potential as a fourth-overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft. He was selected a notch earlier than DeMarcus Cousins.
