The New Orleans Saints will take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football in Week 4. For the second consecutive week, Alvin Kamara will likely be the focal point of New Orleans' offense on Sunday night.

Last Sunday, the Saints played in their first game this season sans Drew Brees as their starting quarterback. Instead, it was Teddy Bridgewater who was taking the snaps from the rookie center Erik McCoy.

Surprisingly, the Saints offense with Bridgewater as the starter was able to jump out to a 20-7 lead in the first half. The reason they were able to get and maintain a lead was due to Kamara showcasing his versatility out of the backfield.

With this intention, Kamara is in store for a big game against the Cowboys in Week 4. As much time as Dallas is going to spend game-planning for him, there is only so much you can do.

In Week 3, Sean Payton had a phenomenal game plan to aid Bridgewater in his first start in the 2019 season. Throughout the game, the Saints repeatedly got the ball out quick to Kamara on short passes and screens.

By doing that, it forces defenders to make an open-field tackle on arguably the most elusive player in the NFL.

As a result, the Saints featured rusher had 161 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns. Above all, Kamara's nine receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown was the main reason why the Saints won last week.

New Orleans was able to do that against a team that has Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright patrolling the middle of the field at linebacker. This Sunday, Payton will want to use a similar approach against the talented linebacker duo of the Cowboys.

Just a week after facing a talented Seattle linebacker group, the Saints will be tasked with preventing Jaylon Smith and Leighton Vander Esch from making plays. Both Smith and Vander Esch had some success versus the Saints in 2018.

In last year's physical matchup between these two teams, Dallas did a remarkable job of hindering Kamara. The dual-threat back had just 72 yards from scrimmage on 19 touches in Week 13 of the 2018 season. That led the Cowboys to securing a narrow 13-10 victory over their NFC foes.

Now, this time around, Payton has an answer for the Cowboys linebacker duo. When the teams face each other this week, the Saints will likely line Kamara up as a receiver as he did in Week 3. Thus, giving him ample room to make defenders miss in the open field.

At the same time, it will make it tough for Dallas to deploy one of their linebackers on Alvin Kamara. Due to that, the Saints outstanding running back is in for a notable performance in Week 4.
