It's every basketball players' dream to dunk over a seven-footer. That probably was the same thing going through Bradley Beal's mind when he met Boston Celtics' 7-foot-5 beanpole Tacko Fall at the rim. In the Washington Wizards‘ road game against the C's at TD Garden on Friday, Beal had every intention to posterize the Sengalese giant.

After shaking off his initial defender Payton Pritchard, the Wizards superstar took it strong to the hole and was poised to throw down a right-handed tomahawk.

But Beal changed his mind mid-air in the last second upon realizing just how absurdly long Fall's wingspan is up close. Instead of going for the hammer, Beal cocked the ball back, took the contact, and just settled for free throws.

What a cop-out.

Here's Beal's epic change of heart, which is probably already on Shaquille O'Neal's radar for the next episode of Shaqtin' A Fool.

Apart from taking a massive L on that play, Bradley Beal and the Wizards also left empty-handed after losing the game, 107-116. Beal once again put up another virtuoso scoring display, uncorking a game-high 41 points on 16-of-29 shooting from the field and 4-for-9 from deep. He also scattered three rebounds, three assists, and one block in 38 minutes. This comes right after his career-high 60-point eruption against the Philadelphia 76ers, which also ended in defeat for Washington.

Tacko Fall, on the other hand, was pretty efficient in 19 minutes of action, tallying four points (2-of-3 FG) along with eight rebounds and three rejections. Next time, Beal should consider just taking a floater if he sees Tacko near the rim.
