Wall has taken some flak lately after it was suggested by Dallas Mavericks point guard J.J. Barea that he is not well-liked throughout the league, including his own teammates. As a result, Phoenix Suns forward Jared Dudley came to Wall's defense on his official Twitter account after he was asked about rumors surrounding his likability.

“That’s the dumbest thing I ever heard,” tweeted Dudley. “Players love John can’t speak for the media.. One of the most unselfish and talent PGs in the league.. Stuff comes out like this when your team loses! Example the Cavs! Now you hear about there meeting and rift.”

Dudley can certainly speak from experience as a former teammate. It took him all but one season in Washington to realize how great of a teammate Wall was. The now five-time All-Star has been adamant about his loyalty to both his team and the Wizards' organization.

That said, the frustration that is mounting around the team is likely contributing to the rumors, as suggested by Dudley. Washington came into the season with high expectations of potentially being a dark horse candidate to win the Eastern Conference.

They have maintained that belief up until their recent skid that includes two losses to teams at the bottom of their respective conference. Needless to say, the Wizards will likely need to make some changes at the deadline if they are to take that next step into the playoffs.
