The Washington Wizards will look to extend their winning streak to three games on Wednesday night when they face the Atlanta Hawks. However, Washington will be without the services of John Wall, who did not travel with the team for personal reasons.

Wall is away from the team due to the birth of his first child:

Wall has had his struggles this season, but he's still the engine that makes the Wizards go. The former Kentucky Wildcat has played in 24 games this season, averaging 21.3 points on 44.3 percent shooting from the field (32.2 percent from beyond the arc), 8.4 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.7 steals and a block in 34.6 minutes per outing.

Via ESPN:

Wall (21.3 points per game) is third on the team's minutes played list; he's just under 9,000 behind Elvin Hayes. Earlier this season he picked up his 500th career 3-pointer and passed Wes Unseld for third place on the team's all-time scoring list.

With Wall ruled out for Wednesday night's game, Wizards head coach Scott Brooks will likely give a few more minutes to Tomas Satoransky. Austin Rivers could also see an uptick in usage rate at the point guard position.

Wednesday's Wizards-Hawks matchup is scheduled to tip inside State Farm Arena at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Hawks will be looking to rebound from a three-game losing streak. The two sides split their four-game series last season.
