Porter Jr. hasn't played in a game since Dec. 10. With this latest news, the arrival of veteran small forward Trevor Ariza is huge for the Wizards. Ariza is a great 3-and-D player and will stabilize the Wizards' locker room as well, which has once again been dysfunctional this season. Washington is coming off a nice win on Sunday against LeBron James and the Lakers to improve to 12-18 on the year.

Otto Porter Jr., who is making $26.0 million this season, has been under a lot of scrutiny since signing a four-year, $106.5 million deal in the summer of 2017. He has the talent of someone who can average 20 points per game. The hope in the nation's capital is that once he fully recovers from this knee injury, he will start playing better.
