The Washington Wizards were unable to keep their four-game winning streak going with their loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night. Fortunately, they will be able to bounce back with one of their key players in small forward Otto Porter.

Porter was unavailable for Washington's matchup with Milwaukee after suffering a minor hip strain versus the Memphis Grizzlies the night before. However, he will return for tonight's tilt versus the Utah Jazz, according to Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington:

It has been a roller-coaster season thus far for Porter. He enjoyed a rather impressive four-game stint to end 2017 with a bang. However, it has since been followed by back-to-back single-digit performances prior to his brief absence.

Of course, that has been the case for Porter all year long. As a result, his fluctuating performance has raised questions as to whether or not he can manage a heavier workload.

Head coach Scott Brooks has praised Porter as one of the team's best perimeter defenders outside of superstar point guard John Wall. Furthermore, Brooks is comfortable with him being the third scoring option on a team that is largely run by the dynamic backcourt pairing of Wall and shooting guard Bradley Beal.

However, Porter may want to start making his case for some more touches with the emergence of small forward Kelly Oubre. The third-year man out of Kansas has shown plenty of promise this season behind Porter, averaging 11.6 points and 4.8 rebounds this season. Meanwhile, Porter is putting up 14.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.
