Washington Wizards head coach Scott Brooks doesn't want to put a timetable on it, but he admitted to reporters on Friday that All-Star point guard John Wall will probably miss the majority of next season.

John Wall ruptured his left Achilles tendon after slipping and falling down at his house. He was already out for the season after undergoing surgery on his left heel.

The former No. 1 overall pick could resume full basketball activities in 12 months.

Wall played in 32 games this season for the Wizards. The five-time All-Star averaged 20.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 8.7 assists while shooting 44.4 percent from the field, 30.2 percent from beyond the arc and 69.7 percent from the free-throw line.

The news hit Scott Brooks very hard, especially when Wall told Brooks he was sorry for letting the team down. Brooks said when he heard Wall say that, he got very emotional.
