With the Washington Wizards' huge 130-103 thrashing of the Orlando Magic on Saturday night, the team accomplished a feat that has not been done since the 2005-06 NBA season when former star point guard Gilbert Arenas was still a member of the squad.

According to a tweet from the official ESPN Stats & Info page, the Wizards (18-15) put up over 130 points for the first time since a 137-96 beatdown of the Seattle Supersonics over 12 years ago on Nov. 11, 2005, when Arenas put up a game-high 32 points and seven assists.

This feat comes just one day after the Wizards' embarrassing loss at Barclays Center at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets on Friday, Washington completely flipped the script at home against Orlando with a well-balanced performance on offense.

“Welcome to the world of coaching,” Wizards head coach Scott Brooks said after the team's win. “(Friday) night's game was a horrible game. There was nothing positive about it.”

On Saturday night, the Wizards were led off the bench by forward Mike Scott's 18 points and four rebounds in just 17 minutes of action. Washington star shooting guard Bradley Beal had 17 points and three assists, while forward Otto Porter Jr. had 17 points and four boards of his own.

“We have so many guys who can shoot the ball,” Beal said. “When we're moving it and get body movement and player movement and ball movement, that's great for us rather than just iso ball.”

The Wizards will travel to TD Garden to take on the Eastern Conference's top seed in the Boston on Christmas Day tomorrow in a chance to pick up a huge road victory.
