Bryce McGowens, a four-star prospect out of the 2021 college basketball recruiting class, will be checked on by the Xavier Musketeers. The Big East Conference program is sending an assistant to see him on Saturday.

This information was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Stockrisers and Rivals grassroots guru Jake Weingarten.

Discussing Bryce McGowens this far out, in terms of talent evaluation, is a bit difficult. That being said, it is known that the Ole Miss Rebels, Clemson Tigers and St. John’s Red Storm have the 6-foot-4 talent on their radar.

Furthermore, as reputable recruiting service outlets begin to evaluate the 2021 class with more sincerity, most do peg him as a four-star caliber player, as well as being on of the 50 (or so) best talents in the entire grouping.

Obviously, ratings can change over the course of the next two years.

Nevertheless, the Xavier Musketeers are interested in the top 50 prospect. Only time will tell if the youngster decides to play for the Big East school or chooses a different university.
