Kevin Durant shook the whole foundation of the NBA when he decided to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder in free agency this summer and join forces with the Golden State Warriors.

KD held meetings with over the opening weekend of free agency with the Thunder, Warriors, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers and the Miami Heat ultimately choosing to sign with the two time defending Western Conference champions Warriors.

After signing his new two-year, $54.3 million contract Kevin Durant sat down for a 1-on-1 interview where he discusses the process of his free agency and how the Warriors meeting went eventually convincing him to choose them. Durant gives major credit to the overall chemistry and family energy that the whole Warriors organization displayed, stretching all the way from the front office down to their all-star filled roster.

Durant's decision certainly has shifted the power structure among the top title-contending teams in the NBA.
