Now that the Pacers want to have Domantas Sabonis play more minutes at the center spot, it seems Myles Turner may no longer have a place in the rotation. Considering the lack of big men that will be available in this year's free agent class, it can definitely be expected that lots of teams will be showing interest in Turner.

Not to mention a multi-talented big man in the modern NBA is a rarity and is something that will catch the eye of many teams who are looking to make a deep playoff push next season. With the Pacers looking to start a new chapter and Myles Turner looking to play for a contender, let's take a look at the five best trade destinations for him during the 2021 NBA offseason.

Myles Turner landing spots:

Golden State Warriors

In the Bay Area, Myles Turner would be a godsend for a Warriors team that's been in dire need of more length and bulk in their frontcourt over the past couple of seasons. In addition to giving them top-notch rim protection and rebounding, Turner is also a terrific shot blocker and would be their defensive anchor while providing them with some much-needed interior defense. This would give a ton of relief to Draymond Green, who is currently their best defender.

Not to mention his well-rounded offensive game would do wonders for Golden State's up-tempo style. With his ability to finish strong at the rim and provide them with some reliable outside shooting, Turner would create even more scoring opportunities for Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson while thriving in the pick-and-roll game. This offseason the Warriors are looking to add young talent that will make an immediate impact during their playoff push next season, and with the addition of Myles Turner they'd be getting the best of both worlds.

Miami Heat

Looking to bounce back in a major way next season with the hopes of making another deep playoff run, the Miami Heat are looking to reshuffle their roster and add some size and depth to their frontline. The addition of Myles Turner would do wonders for them, and with his can-do attitude he'd be a perfect fit for the Heat culture. As mobile big man that can play power forward or center, he would fit perfectly with their style of position-less basketball.

Not to mention his well-rounded game on both ends would give the Heat the perfect big man to playing alongside Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Between their defensive tenacity, athleticism, and multi-faceted scoring approach, they'd be a nightmare scenario for opposing teams on both ends of the floor. With this move, the Heat would move back into the upper echelon of the Eastern Conference and be poised for another surprise run to the NBA Finals. Only this time with the hopes of bringing back the Larry O'Brien trophy to South Beach.

Los Angeles Lakers

With the Lakers planning on doing some serious roster overhaul this summer, they'll be looking to add more talent around LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The addition of Myles Turner would give the Lakers the perfect player to have playing alongside James and Davis, who are without question the best superstar duo in the league when fully healthy.

Having Turner play at the center spot would allow Davis to thrive at power forward while also giving James the flexibility to operate at either small forward or point guard and give the Lakers a scary new trio to work with. Between their size, speed, length, and athleticism, the Lakers would have a legitimate shot at taking back the Western Conference in dominant fashion.

This would also give them a solid trio to build around while the Lakers could also form the arguably the best big man tandem in the league with Myles Turner and Anthony Davis, who are two of the most highly skilled big men in the NBA. If LA can pull off this trade, then they may have just sealed themselves a return to the NBA Finals next season. This would also give Turner a chance to shine on a big market title contender and join Lakers lore as potentially the next great big man in franchise history.

Brooklyn Nets

After a disappointing finish in to their season, the Nets will be looking to re-tool this summer and be back with a vengeance in 2021. Right now their biggest need would be a reliable center that can help them out on the glass, block shots, run the floor, and catch lobs on fast breaks. Myles Turner fits the bill and checks off all of those boxes while giving them a young and athletic center who can continue to improve his game while playing alongside bona fide superstars Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving.

Turner would give them another big body that would be a great counter down low when they face bigger teams like Philly and Milwaukee next postseason. This move could easily put the Nets over the top and get them to the NBA Finals in 2022, especially if they're able to bring back their core players healthy for an entire season.

Charlotte Hornets

The Hornets will be looking to build off of last season's momentum after witnessing LaMelo Ball's stellar play that took the league by storm. Miles Bridges made another leap in his game and Terry Rozier resurrected his playing career and came through big for Charlotte down the stretch last season.

Adding Myles Turner to this young and exciting team with limitless potential would make them an exciting new playoff threat. The complementary skillsets and tireless work ethic of this team would mesh well together and allow them to play off of each other and create stellar ball movement while being able to run killer defensive sets.

Add to that the savvy play and veteran presence of Gordon Hayward, and the Hornets could be a dangerous lower seed with great upset potential come playoff time. If the Hornets want to build off of last year's success while continuing to add to their youth movement, then trading for Myles Turner would be a great start to that.
