The day has come where fans are delighted to see the schedule of their favorite team be unveiled, with the Philadelphia Eagles' schedule set for the 2019 season.

Before the schedule release, we already knew the Eagles home games are going to be against the following teams:

  • Dallas Cowboys
  • New York Giants
  • Washington Redskins
  • Chicago Bears
  • Detroit Lions
  • New England Patriots
  • New York Jets
  • Seattle Seahawks

As for the road games, here are the remaining other eight games for the Eagles:

  • Dallas Cowboys
  • New York Giants
  • Washington Redskins
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • Buffalo Bills
  • Miami Dolphins
  • Atlanta Falcons

Of course, the Eagles will face the Cowboys, Giants, and the Redskins twice since their in the same division. Every team also has to play four games against a division within their conference and four games against a division in the opposite conference.

In 2019, it seems like the Eagles will play the NFC North and the AFC East as the two divisions they have to face outside the NFC East. By glancing at their schedule, there are a few games that stand out amongst the rest.

Here are five must-watch games for the Eagles in 2019.

5. Seattle Seahawks (Week 12)

Russell Wilson, Seahawks

The Eagles will face off against the Seahawks at home in 2019. There a ton of players to watch on both teams—with both teams pushing for playoff positioning.

The Seahawks finished with a record of 10-6 in 2018 and made the playoffs as the fifth seed in the NFC. The team who made the playoffs behind them as the six seed was Philadelphia.

We get Russell Wilson against Carson Wentz—assuming Wentz is healthy and ready to play when these teams face each other. It's going to be a clash of two teams who have won a Super Bowl in the past six years.

Both teams faced the Patriots in the Super Bowl, with the Eagles being the only of the two to take down the Goliath of the NFL. This game should be an exciting one to watch.

4. Dallas Cowboys (Week 7)

Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys
CP

Division games are always exciting to watch and the Eagles/Cowboys games aren't an exception, so we'll go with the first one in Week 7 (with the other set for Week 16). The Cowboys have won the last three meetings between the two teams but the total point differential in those three games has been only 19 points.

The Eagles will want to end the Cowboys winning streak against them in 2019. Also, the two games against the Cowboys could be vital for both team's chances to win the division.

Philadelphia and Dallas have fought for the division in the past couple of seasons with the Redskins and Giants struggling to rebuild. As of now, it looks like it'll be more of the same for the division.

3. Chicago Bears (Week 9)

Jordan Howard, Eagles

In 2019, the Eagles will host the Bears in Philadelphia for a tough matchup. These teams faced each other in the playoffs last season in the Wild Card round.

The Eagles came out on top with Cody Parkey missing a 43-yard field goal that would've won the game for the Bears. There's no doubt that the Bears will want to come in and avenge their loss against Philadelphia in 2019.

The Bears were a talented team in 2018 with Matt Nagy as head coach and their stingy defense.

We also get to see a Jordan Howard revenge game as he was traded from the Bears to the Eagles earlier this offseason.

2. Green Bay Packers (Week 4)

Aaron Rodgers

One of the Eagles' road games in the upcoming season will be against the Packers. Teams hate playing in Lambeau—especially against Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers owns a 64-17-1 record at home while he is 39-44 on the road. The All-Pro quarterback loves to play in front of his home crowd—while the Eagles will want to spoil his day.

The Packers will look a little different with Matt LaFleur replacing Mike McCarthy as head coach. The offense will likely be more up-tempo and incorporate Aaron Jones more.

It will be fun to see Wentz prove himself to be one of the best up and coming quarterbacks against one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

1. New England Patriots (Week 11)

Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, Patriots, AFC East

Every team in the NFL's personal Super Bowl comes when they face the Patriots. The Eagles will get an opportunity to take down the reigning Super Bowl champs at home in 2019.

Of course, Philadelphia did the impossible and defeated the Patriots in the Super Bowl with Nick Foles under center just two years ago. Foles is no longer there to save the Eagles but Wentz will be ready for the challenge.

The Eagles young quarterback has yet to face New England as the starter in his career. Although, he will get a chance to put the NFL on notice by besting the Patriots in 2019.

Fans of the NFL will be in for a treat to watch Tom Brady take on Wentz and the Eagles. Regardless of the outcome, this game should be a must-watch game in the 2019 regular season.
