Respawn confirms that starting next week, several regions around the globe will finally be able to play Apex Legends Mobile.

Back in Spring 2021, EA announced a closed beta test for Apex Legends Mobile taking place in India and the Philippines. EA then launched an open beta test on November 16, 2021, for other regions to test out the game. After four months of waiting, beginning March 2022, Apex Legends Mobile will officially launch in ten select regions. These regions are namely Argentina, Australia, Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, the Philippines, and Singapore.

Apex Legends Mobile will be available to download on both Android and iOS. During the initial limited launch, players will only be able to use Apex Legend’s original eight legends plus Octane. We can expect the rest of the legends to release during the game’s global launch. As for game modes, players will be able to participate in Battle Royale, Arenas, and Team Deathmatch. We’re not entirely sure if ranked matches will be separate from standard matches considering most mobile games integrate both together.

It’s undeniable how successful Apex Legends has become throughout the years. Back in 2019, Apex was off to a hot start being the most downloaded free-to-play game on PS4 during launch. 12 seasons later, Apex Legends is still on top of the free-to-play battle royale food chain. Now with Apex Legends Mobile coming out next week, the community will just grow even larger. The smartphone version of Apex Legends gets its limited regional launch next week.
