Sean McVay has already started a pretty impressive coaching tree with the latest coach to get a job being Zac Taylor with the Cincinnati Bengals. Taylor is a lot like McVay being young and a remarkable offensive mind, but he knows to make it in the league he has to be different.

“If I try to be Sean McVay, I'm going to fail, to be quite honest with you,” Taylor said earlier in the spring via ESPN. “We're different people. I've learned a lot from him, but I'm going to be Zac Taylor and do the best I can my way.”

One significant change that Taylor has brought to the Bengals is just the way he runs meetings. AJ Green recently talked on the Adam Schefter podcast about how players are kept on their toes because Taylor will ask different players questions to keep them paying attention.

Taylor is also in the offensive meetings going through every play and every detail and telling players how he wants it run.

“It’s different to have your head coach be in the offensive meeting room going through every play, every detail to every guy, telling them why they need to run this way or what this concept is,” Green said. “It's just a little different, but it's fun. It's awesome because he's so smart, he's so detailed.”

So far it seems like things are working well for Taylor, but they also haven't played a game yet, or even had a practice where players can tackle. Taylor is doing all he can right now though to put his stamp on the Bengals organization.
