Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is sill looking for his first career win under center. However, the Philadelphia Eagles have made sure to give him his “Welcome to the NFL” moment.

Defensive tackle Malik Jackson laid a devastating hit on the Bengals quarterback that ultimately drew a roughing the passer penalty, via NFL Update:

There has been some debate regarding whether or not the hit by Jackson should have been flagged. While there is no question that there was some gnarly contact, the veteran made sure to lead with his shoulder into Burrow's chest. Regardless, the officials decided it was more than enough to call the penalty.

Fortunately, the No. 1 pick was quickly able to bounce back from the hit and resume play after getting a taste of real NFL contact. The onus will now fall on Burrow to show that he is capable of overcoming it by getting his team in the win column for the first time this season.
