The Triplets are coming into this game fresh off a win over 3's Company in Week 4. It was the Joe Johnson show once again as the two-time MVP continues to step up for his team in crucial games. The Triplets are looking like a team that can win it all again and they'll hope to improve against the struggling Aliens.
The Aliens are coming off another loss last week to the Enemies and remain the only winless team in the league thus far. After making the playoffs last season, their hopes are shot for this year and they'll have to make some serious changes in the offseason. A win here would be nothing but a morale booster and could prove to be the biggest upset of the season if they can pull it off.

Why Triplets Will Win
The Triplets have a great chance to advance to 4-1 on the season by facing off against the Aliens. They've been a free-win all season for opposing teams and the Triplets should focus on trying to pick up another W to boost their resume. Joe Johnson and Jeremy Pargo will lead the way once again with their balanced scoring attack. Jamario Moon has seen great action off the bench and serves as a great floor general for them.
To win this game, the Triplets will need to focus on locking up the defensive perimeter and forcing the Aliens to take contested three-point shots. They've relied on their threes all year, so if Triplets can put a hand in their face, they could force them into a slump. They're the much better scoring team, so the Triplets shouldn't shy away from attacking the basket at any point of this game.
Why Aliens Will Win
The Aliens are having a season to forget after their solid 2022 campaign and it looks like they'll be back to the drawing board for the upcoming season. They've prided themselves on being a solid team from three-point range, but their threes haven't been falling at all. They went just 5-17 in the loss and managed to put up nine points in the first half. The bright side, however, is that they didn't allow a single offensive rebound and stood tall on the boards.
To win this game, the Aliens will have to be equally active on the glass and finally get hot shooting from three. Their ball movement and passing was the hallmark of their team a season ago, so they could benefit from going back to that type of unselfish offense. If they continue living by the three, they have to be ready to die by it as they cling onto their season by a thread.

It's tough to see the Aliens struggling this much after their success from a year ago, but there's no reason to back them at this point, especially going up against one of the league's best teams. It's clear that they're playing for pride at this point, but it won't be enough against the relentless attack of Johnson and Pargo. For the prediction, let's go with the Triplets to get the win and advance to 4-1 on the season.
