Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was always known to be a dual-threat player ever since he entered the league in 2018. The third-year player used to favor running with his legs whenever his long bombs weren't available. He's looking to make changes to his game in the upcoming season and allow his team's other weapons to do their thing.

“My mindset this year is a little different,” Allen said, via TheAthletic.com. “I’m going to try to get the ball into my playmakers’ hands and let them make some plays because they’re a lot quicker and shiftier than I am. But when my number is called, I’ll step up to the plate for sure.”

The arrival of former Minnesota Vikings wideout Stefon Diggs via trade was a big factor in the changes expected to be seen in Allen's game. The six-year veteran gives his gunslinger a reliable option on the wings and can help maximize his strong cannon. Diggs is coming off his best season yet as he tallied 63 receptions for 1,130 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns in 2019.

Sophomore running back Devin Singletary could also be given a much larger role after the departure of 16-year veteran Frank Gore. Rookie Zack Moss gives Allen another option for the offense's ground attacks.

With more reliable weapons at his disposal, Allen will look to further increase his tallies for the upcoming season.  The 2020 season will see if the change in the gunslinger's playing style will help him take his game to the next level and lead the Bills to greater heights.
