On Saturday, a terrible mass shooting incident shocked the Buffalo community. An armed person entered a supermarket in the city and opened fire on those inside. The shooter killed 10 civilians and injured 3 others during the incident, all while streaming the incident on Twitch. It's a tragic incident that left most of the community heartbroken.

Among those who shared the grief of the Buffalo community is Bills star Josh Allen. In a well-worded tweet, the star quarterback expressed his emotions surrounding the matter.

Extremely hard to express the emotions right now. Absolutely heartbroken for the victims and their families, and for the City of Buffalo.

Allen was drafted by the Bills back in 2018. Despite the flaws in his game initially, the city embraced the young quarterback fully. It's no wonder why Allen feels a special connection to this city, and why he grieves with the others about this incident.

Mass shootings are an unfortunate problem in the country today. Aside from the Buffalo incident earlier, another mass shooting occured near Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. Thankfully, no one was injured during the incident in Wisconsin, though it did leave 20 people injured in it's aftermath.

The Bills are looking to build upon an extremely successful 2021 season. Josh Allen and the team was considered to be top contenders in the AFC. However, they were knocked out in the Divisional Round by the Kansas City Chiefs in a heartbreaker. They'll be looking to avenge that loss this season by winning the city's first Super Bowl trophy in it's history.
