Team SoloMid's official Twitter account, jokingly put the word out that they are looking for a new mid player. However, they're not just looking to recruit any random solo queue star or pro player. They need someone to fill in a huge gap left behind by their former star player, Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg.

Bjergsen first joined the organization in November 2013 as a replacement for Andy “Reginald” Dinh, the team's CEO and founder who chose to step out of the lineup. Since Bjergsen's addition to the Team SoloMid roster, he has contributed to six of seven total North American LOL Championship Series titles. Bjergsen closed out his professional playing career by securing his last NA LCS title earlier this year for TSM. His contributions to TSM as its leader and star player is nothing to scoff at.

Reginald considers Bjergsen more than just a player on his team. This was made clear when he made the announcement to make Bjergsen a co-owner of the organization.

“It was essential for us to re-sign Bjergsen. Not only is he is one of the best players at his position, but he is also a great leader. …He is more than just a player to us, so making him a strategic shareholder was important.”

It will be incredibly difficult for TSM to find another star player on par with Bjergsen. But they won't have much trouble training any newcomer that will grace their mid position, as Bjergsen will remain in the organization as its new head coach. What better way to find the next Bjergsen by having the actual Bjergsen train him?
