There have been a lot of rumors swirling around Terry Stotts and the safety of his job after the Portland Trail Blazers were swept by the New Orleans Pelicans.

That makes ten consecutive postseason losses in a row for the Trail Blazers and although no one has confirmed or denied if he will be back when that sort of thing happens, anything seems to be on the line.

For the most part though, he has been known as a players coach and his players have come to his defense to defend the job he has done. CJ McCollum said he thinks Stotts has done a good job for what he has had to work with.

Not only does that seem like he is backing up Stotts, it also seems like it could be a shot at the front office and the ownership. He seems to be making the point that he hasn't been giving enough talent to work with. When you have the backcourt that the Trail Blazers have though, there is no way you should really be swept out of the playoffs by anyone besides maybe a healthy Golden State Warriors team.

The biggest question that the Blazers front office has to figure out is why is this team so good during the regular season, but struggle so much during the postseason. Is it something that can be corrected or is it something a different coach needs to come in and try to figure out?
