Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard just released his second album titled Big D.O.L.L.A, and it has created a lot of social media buzz lately.

Lillard, who's emcee name is Dame D.O.L.L.A, has had a successful career so far. He officially started his rap career two years ago when he released his debut album ‘Confirmed.' During that span, he has also received a lot of nicknames from his peers, including Logo Lillard.

Dame was recently asked by Billboard.com's Eric Diep on what his favorite moniker is, and he had an obvious answer.

“I think Dame D.O.L.L.A. I really like Logo Lillard. I really like my rap name though. My coaches on the Blazers call me D.O.L.L.A. My college roommate called me D.O.L.L.A. People really call me that. And it stands for Different on Levels Lord Allowed, so it’s something that’s carried [throughout my career]. People call me that.”

Lillard has put in serious work in building his music career. Whenever he's not on the court or bonding with his family, he perfects his songwriting craft with the help of some of the best rappers today. He's as dedicated to this as he is in basketball because it's one way for him to tell his life to his fans.

Aside from winning an NBA championship one day, Lillard is also hoping to nab a Grammy. And with the amount of dedication that he puts in on both of his careers, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him accomplish both when everything is said and done.
