Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard and Chicago Bulls rookie Lauri Markkanen have something in common.

The two players set records by being the fastest players to make 100 3-pointers in their rookie year. Markkanen just beat Lillard's mark, hitting 100 in only 41 games. Lillard did so in 44 games.

However, when ESPN tweeted a graphic showing the players that have reached the milestone, first was Markkanen, which made sense — but after the Bulls rookie came Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, who made 100 3-pointers in the first 58 games of his career.

Lillard, understandably, has some beef, per his Twitter account.

ESPN completely leaving him out is a total oversight on their part. The editors over there must not have remembered that Lillard was the previous holder of this feat that set himself apart in NBA history until Markkanen came along. In a way, it makes sense that Curry was next on their minds because most associate Curry with shooting, but not Lillard so much.

But it gets worse. Lillard recently made more NBA history, joining only Klay Thompson as having made at least 100 3-pointers in each of their first six seasons. That story was out there for ESPN to pull from, but yet they still left him out.

Lillard has every right to be frustrated over this whole thing. Not only does he not get enough recognition for being the shooter he is, but that graphic by ESPN was the perfect opportunity to put him next to the greatest shooters of all-time.

Instead, Lillard just has more fuel to prove himself to the world that he should be mentioned with those shooters.
