Evan Turner has forged himself into history right beside Portland Trail Blazers legend Clyde Drexler as the only two players in franchise history with back-to-back triple-doubles.

Turner achieved the feat on Wednesday in their win over the Memphis Grizzlies, 116-89. He tallied 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists.

His previous triple-double came in on Monday in their 132-122 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. This stat made him the first player off the bench to notch a perfect triple-double as he shot 5-of-5 from the field.

Drexler logged in similar statistics on Feb. 24, 1989, and Feb. 26, 1989.

Turner has slowly found a home with the Trail Blazers. As the second overall pick in 2010, he was expected to turn into one of the league's best. But after spending three and a half seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers — the team which picked him — he jumped to the Indiana Pacers, then the Boston Celtics, and now the Blazers.

In his third year with the Trail Blazers, he's averaging 6.6 points per game, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists across 22 minutes. He's been a steady part of the team's second unit and an intrinsic part of their success. They currently sport a 50-28 record for fourth place in the competitive Western Conference. This is their first 50-win campaign since the 2014-2015 season. And as they make another run at the playoffs, they're relying on Turner's play to get them over the hump.
