It's easy to feel like Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo have beef after their very strange press conference at UFC 270 last week. The two seemed very far away from getting along and neither seemed to like each other.

Brandon Moreno is known as a happy person that doesn't typically have beef with his opponents. The former UFC champion likes to be as genuine as possible.

The Mexican former UFC Champion recently went on The MMA Hour and revealed how he truly feels about Deiveson Figueiredo. It's not quite as simple as some might imagine.

“I say this before, so again I feel the same, I really think he’s a nice guy,” UFC flyweight Moreno said on the show Wednesday. “He’s a good person, but with crazy and bad people around him who say, ‘You need to sell the fight’ and, ‘You need to say this, you need to say that.’ Even at the press conference, he looks very fake, all the trash talk. That’s why I was like, ‘Man, what are you doing? Why are you trying so hard to impress all the people here?’

“Like I said before, I don’t need that in my life. I prefer to be real with the people. This is what I am. Love me or hate me, but it’s this and that’s it.”

Brandon Moreno had previously spoken about the people around Deiveson Figueiredo at the UFC 270 pre-fight press conference. He has big issues with his team forcing beef between the two and trying to be disrespectful.
