Jake Butt has always been at the butt of jokes due to his last name and he continues to experience that despite playing in the NFL. Following the Denver Broncos' loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 1, Butt shared a hilarious NSFW newspaper headline for all of Twitter to see.

Butt is in his third season with the Broncos after being drafted by the team in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Coming out of Michigan, Butt was expected to develop into a starting-caliber tight end for Denver.

In his rookie season, he started in three games, totaling eight receptions for 85 yards. However, he would tear his ACL in his rookie campaign, preventing him from finishing the 2018 season.

A year later, Butt would undergo a cleanup surgery on his knee after suffering a setback on his torn ACL. As a result, he would be sidelined for the entire 2019 season, limiting him to just three games in his career entering the 2020 season.

After a strong showing in Broncos' training camp, Butt was able to secure the No. 2 tight end spot behind Noah Fant this season. During Monday night's narrow loss to the Titans, Butt caught one pass for zero yards. For the most part, he was utilized as a run blocker in the 16 offensive snaps he had in Denver's offense in Week 1.

It is remarkable that Butt has been able to battle back from multiple ACL injuries to return to the gridiron in 2020. At the same time, the former fifth-round pick is still involved in humorous headlines for the Broncos.
