Jerry Jeudy is getting his first taste of on-field work with the Denver Broncos and he's already turning heads.

Despite being a rookie wide receiver, head coach Vic Fangio is impressed with how “polished” Jeudy was during Friday's practice.

“Jerry’s come in here and he’s got good polish as a receiver comparing him to other rookie receivers coming out of college,’’ said Broncos’ head coach Vic Fangio, via Mike Klis of 9News. “He runs good routes. He’s got good change of direction, good hands. It was nice to see him making a couple of plays today.”

Back in April, the Broncos took Jeudy with the No. 15 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Alabama. Throughout the pre-draft process, Jeudy was regarded as the best route-runner available in this year's draft class. And for good reason.

During his time at Alabama, Jeudy was extremely dominant in his three collegiate seasons. Furthermore, in his final two seasons alone, he combined for 145 receptions, 2,478 yards, and 24 touchdowns.

Upon Jeudy's arrival, the Broncos suddenly have a well-rounded receiving corps for second-year quarterback Drew Lock to target. Besides Jeudy, Denver's wide receiver room includes Courtland Sutton, rookie K.J. Hamler, DaeSean Hamilton, and Tim Patrick. Not to mention, second-year tight end Noah Fant is expected to have a breakout season in 2020.

Of course, we will have to wait and see if Jeudy can translate his early success in training camp to a productive rookie campaign. Still, it's a positive sign that the first-year wide receiver is already dazzling the coaches of the Broncos.
