The Denver Broncos have selected wider receiver Jerry Jeudy from Alabama with the No. 15 overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Jeudy is another capable receiver in what could be one of the best NFL Draft receiving corps in Crimson Tide history. The 6-foot-1 junior isn't as fast or as athletically gifted as his sideline partner Henry Ruggs III, but he makes up those deficiencies with his size, a big wingspan, and incredible route-running precision.

The 6-foot-1, 193-pound Jeudy is as well-rounded a receiver as they come in the first round of the NFL Draft. Able to run crisp routes, accelerate and decelerate at the drop of a dime, capable of keeping secondaries on their toes.

His fluidity has drawn comparison to a shorter Santonio Holmes (5-foot-10), but his size should pose enough threats to make him an even more dynamic end-to-end receiver.

Jeudy could use some work with his hands, as he could have a tougher time holding onto passes against bigger, more physical defenders at this level. Regardless, he has all the makings of a quality No. 1 starter, even if it is down the road. It is hard to knock this NFL Draft selection.

Jeudy is in the rare line of well-rounded NFL Draft Alabama receivers with big upside like Julio Jones, Amari Cooper, and Calvin Ridley. He joined Cooper as a Biletnikoff Award winner after an impressive sophomore season (2018) where he was honored as a First-Team All-American and a First-Team All-SEC selection.

The Florida native transitioned from being merely a deep threat to an all-around target in his junior season at Alabama, an evolution that should continue in the pros. This NFL Draft selection should work out.
