After Brian Allen of the Los Angeles Rams became the first NFL player to contract the coronavirus, Von Miller of the Denver Broncos also revealed he tested positive for it. Despite the scare earlier this offseason, Miller has fortunately been cleared of the coronavirus.

Besides Miller and Allen, New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton also tested positive for COVID-19. Luckily for all of them, they took the necessary precautions and were able to overcome the disease.

Seeing that Miller has asthma, there was a higher level of concern with him getting the coronavirus. Nevertheless, the Broncos linebacker was able to test negative after two weeks of quarantining himself.

Now, after taking down the coronavirus, Miller can get back to focusing on taking down opposing quarterbacks. While teams aren't able to utilize their facilities, they are still conducting virtual offseason programs to keep players prepared for training camp. The Broncos program started on April 27.

This past season, Miller finished with eight sacks, 10 tackles for loss, and 20 quarterback hits. For the first time in his career, he failed to record a forced fumble. In his defense, his pass-rushing mate, Bradley Chubb suffered a season-ending injury in Week 4.

Even though he turned 31 years old in March, Miller is still one of the best edge rushers in the entire NFL. Prior to the 2019 campaign, he strung together five consecutive seasons of 10 or more sacks.

After a disappointing season in 2019 coupled with the coronavirus, Miller is likely going to be more motivated than ever in 2020. Good luck to all of the quarterbacks that happen to appear on the Broncos' schedule next season.
