Denver Broncos wide receivers Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders have both been linked with a move away from the team ahead of next week’s trade deadline. Thomas, in particular, is well aware of those rumors and is bracing for the possibility that his days in Denver are numbered.

However, it appears that neither may be leaving Denver after all, according to Mike Klis of 9News:

Update to yesterday's story, the Broncos will not trade Demaryius Thomas this week and are not actively shopping him, per source. Will they listen if teams are interested as Tuesday trade deadline approaches next week? Probably. But good bet DT finishes season in Denver.

Klis adds that of the two receivers, Sanders has received most of the interest from opposing teams. However, the Broncos apparently do not intend to trade the wideout.

Thomas, 30, has spent his entire nine-year career with the Broncos and has been a consistent 1,000-yard receiver for the better part of a decade. Although, he’s on pace for his worst season since 2011 as he currently has just 33 catches for 372 yards through seven games.

On the other hand, Sanders is having a nice bounce-back season. He's already got 46 catches for 603 yards and three touchdowns through seven games after totaling 47 catches for 555 yards and two TDs in 12 games last year.

By refusing to trade away their two top receivers, the Broncos don't appear to be ready to blow it up just yet. It remains to be seen if that ends up being a good decision moving forward, but at least the Broncos fans will get to enjoy watching two of their best players for a little while longer.
