The Cleveland Browns couldn't have asked for a better start to their playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After deferring to receive the ball first, the Browns defense marched onto the field with the intention of stopping the Steelers. Not only did they stop them, but they also put some points on the board.

Maurkice Pouncey, the starting center for the Pittsburgh Steelers, muffed the snap and sent it way over Ben Roethlisberger's head on the first play of the game. The ball sailed over the quarterback and into the Steelers own end zone. Neither Roethlisberger nor James Conner were able to recover the ball and the Browns scooped up the fumble in the end zone to open up the scoring just fourteen seconds into the game.

The Browns, who are in the playoffs for the first time in eighteen years, are clearly ready to make an impact in this seasons playoffs.

This is a surprising start from the Steelers veteran-dominated offense. Big Ben is starting in his 22nd playoff game and Maurkice Pouncey is an all-pro caliber player, so this blunder is uncharacteristic from what we're used to seeing from the disciplined Steelers team against the Browns.

Just a few minutes later, the Browns get their second takeaway of the game, picking off Ben Roethlisberger.

The Browns look like they're coming out to play, so the Steelers are going to have to do a better job taking care of the ball if they want to advance.

These two division rivals split the season series this year and are evenly matched.

This game figured to be a good one, but 10 and a half minutes into the first quarter, the Browns are up 21-0 in a stunning turn of events absolutely no one could have reasonably anticipated. The Steelers are already in a position where they might have to run a no-huddle offense. The Steelers came back from a 24-7 deficit against the Indianapolis Colts a few weeks ago, ditching the run and throwing on nearly every play.
