The Cleveland Browns are coming off their first-ever 0-16 season, which has led to a few significant changes within the organization.

Another one appears to be on the horizon as the front office is nearing a deal to land former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley in the same position with the team under head coach Hue Jackson, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.

Todd Haley has a chance to remain in the AFC North, as the Cleveland Browns have engaged him in serious talks to become their new offensive coordinator under Hue Jackson, according to league sources.

Haley had previously served with the Steelers for the last six seasons before being let go earlier this week after the team elected not to renew his contract following the 45-42 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the divisional round. There had been the notion that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger didn't exactly see eye-to-eye with Haley during the later portion of their tenure together.

In the 2017 campaign, the Steelers finished eighth in the league in points per game (25.4) along being third in both total yards (377.9) and passing yards (273.8). It was vital in helping the team work their way to a 13-3 record while securing the NFC North division title and a first-round bye.

Pittsburgh had much offensive success under Haley as the team was the second highest scoring offense over that span only trailing the New England Patriots. His experience with the Steelers could bode well in helping turn around the Browns offensively next season.

This could the first of many changes in Cleveland as the organization is in the position to completely reshape the roster over the offseason that includes holding the first and fourth overall picks that may be used to take some promising offensive players along with a projected over $100 million in salary cap space to use in free agency.
