Deshaun Watson's introductory press conference with the Cleveland Browns featured a lot of attempted explanations for the accusations against him and the franchise's part in investigating the matter. Watson denied the allegations and general manager Andrew Berry explained why the organization didn't reach out to the 22 women who came forward with them.

One detail about Watson that wasn't adding up was why he used forty different massage therapists during his time with the Houston Texans. The Browns new quarterback responded to a question about it, saying that being in the same city for five years allowed him to meet and work with different people.

Watson's answer does not seem to be very confident. Trying out different therapists makes sense but averaging eight different ones per year seems very excessive. He did not explain why he can't go into the details and there was no mention of any legal obligations to deny providing them. Cleveland's new star said that he has no regrets about how he handled himself in the past.

The Browns showed a gigantic investment in Watson as a person and player by trading five draft picks for him and giving him a gigantic contract extension with the most guaranteed money ever. They explained how they are taking the concerns of the Cleveland community seriously, but trading for Watson shows that they are not that concerned.

Watson will replace Baker Mayfield as Cleveland's franchise quarterback. The 26-year-old and three-time Pro Bowler will team up with Amari Cooper to establish a new connection for the Browns offense.
