Jameis Winston is no longer a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but that isn't stopping him from helping the community. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Winston is donating to struggling restaurants and families in Tampa Bay.

Around the world, there are businesses and families that have been negatively impacted by the coronavirus. Remarkably, Winston is going to be donating $30,000 to eight different restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. At the same time, he will provide meals for over 1,000 families for the next month.

Of course, the Buccaneers decided to move on from Winston this offseason, choosing to replace him with Tom Brady. For over a month, Winston was uncertain of where he would be playing in 2020, as he sat in free agency.

Nevertheless, earlier this week, Winston was able to agree to a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints. While he won't get a chance to start next season, Winston is going to get a chance to learn from Drew Brees.

Dating back to his days at Florida State, many have questioned Winston's character on and off of the field. On the other hand, his decision-making has been a legitimate concern for years. Just this past season, Winston became the first quarterback in history to throw for 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in the same season.

With that being said, Winston has been doing fantastic work in the Tampa Bay community in recent years. Even though he won't be suiting up for the Buccaneers next season, he's going to continue providing aid in Tampa Bay.
