Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston connected with wide receiver Chris Godwin on an immaculate thread-the-needle reception, leading to a first-quarter touchdown for the NFC South franchise against the Atlanta Falcons (via NFL).

Godwin, 23, a third-year wideout out of Penn State, has nearly 1,000 receiving yards on the season now and eight touchdowns, cementing the 2019 season as a breakout one for the former third-round selection for the Buccaneers.

The fifth-year Bucs signal-caller Winston is trying to prove himself in this final stretch of the season after rumors have been swirling that he could be out the door at the conclusion of the year for Tampa.

The Buccaneers are locked in a divisional matchup with an equally bad team, the Falcons, in their Week 12 matchup, trying to make something out of a poor season.
