Less than a week after winning his first-ever NBA title with the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has switched his mood to get the off-season grind going. The two-time MVP knows that a lot of great superstars have paved the way for him and Giannis channelled a few of these iconic NBA champions in his latest social media posts.

The 26-year-old posted a series of Instagram Stories channeling quite the collection of superstars – Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat, Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks, Hakeem Olajuwon of the Houston Rockets, and, last but not the least, Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant (via Bleacher Report).

“Let's have a great off season
 WORK” Giannis posted.

Now that's a starting five that would guarantee you a few titles.

Giannis has been through quite a journey both in and out of the NBA. From selling watches and CDs on the streets of Greece to climbing his way all the way to the top of the league, Antetokoummpo has literally been through it all. After winning back-to-back MVP titles in 2019 and 2020 and now winning his first NBA ring as well as his first NBA Finals MVP trophy, it seems that the champ has his eyes on so much more.

Antetokounmpo's trophy cabinet may be filling up quite fast but, as his recent post suggests, that's all in the past now and it's time to get back to work. Though it may be a tough ask for the Bucks to repeat and go on another amazing championship run, there isn't really a challenging path Giannis was never willing to take.
